Gifts to Alumni Chapter Scholarship contribute to...
Today, we are asking for your support of the Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship fund in our campaign today and if you join or start your own regional chapter you can also work to create your own area regional scholarship, as did our Atlanta Chapter. Last year, this chapter held events, and did charity work, but also was able to make a difference in the life of an Atlanta area student who attends St. John’s.
St. John’s alumni number over 195,000 and span across our country and the globe. With high concentrations of alumni in different areas, our Alumni chapters are a great way to stay in touch with St. John’s and fellow friends and classmates.
Our alumni chapters also support the students from their areas with scholarship help, that will help grow their chapters for future generations of Johnnies.
Right now we have established chapters in the Atlanta, Georgia area; Staten Island, NY; Los Angeles, CA; and Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
And, we are starting chapters in Arizona; Brooklyn; Florida; Nassau County; and North Carolina.
Do you think your area has enough alumni to start a chapter? Here are additional areas with high concentrations of Johnnies:
3,328 alumni in Connecticut
2,671 alumni in Pennsylvania
1,533 alumni in Texas
1,440 alumni in Massachusetts
So, join a regional chapter and if you don’t see a regional chapter in your area? Start one! First step, for joining or starting one is to fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. Once you submit your form, someone from the Office of Alumni Relations will reach out with the next steps necessary to start a new chapter and being Johnnies together!
