An earthquake that lasted less than 15 seconds took away over 300,000 lives, and displaced over 1.5 million of our brothers and sisters.
After January 12th, 2010, Haiti would never be the same.
Six years have passed by and many of our children are still unable to receive an education, while many families are finding themselves in worse economic situations than they were in before.
The Haitian Society and St. John's family have decided to take action, and STAND WITH HAITI! As student leaders, it is important for us to bring awareness to the tribulations of those who are unable to help themselves.
EDUCATION is the key to SUCCESS. We ask that you take a stand with us!
Our goal is to raise $3,000.00 by February 14th, and Keep in mind that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Haiti in order to change the lives of those children forever.
On January 27th at 5pm in DAC R128 (DAC Org Lounge), we invite you all to join us at WE STAND WITH HAITI, a dinner in which we gather to honor those who were affected by the Earthquake that devastated Haiti 6 years ago.
Kako Bourjolly will be with us, sharing the amazing jobs his organization, AYITI SE NOU is doing for the children in Haiti.
