The Catholic Scholars Program is unique to St. John's University. It is a way for students to be part of a meaningful college program that prepares them for leadership in their church, community, and world.
Catholic Scholars serve the faith life of campus each day, care for the poor and marginalized as part of the Vincentian tradition and go out yearlong across NYC and Long Island, to offer retreat, catechesis, and prayer opportunities for young people that aim to live their Catholic faith and Gospel values.
These select Catholic Scholars are active in their leadership and learning every week through workshops, prayer, and coursework. Your support of the program affords greater resource to these exceptional student leaders and encourages their efforts guided by Catholic Social Teaching.
