The Psychology Doctoral Fellows Program for Underrepresented Groups recognizes and supports one outstanding student each year from diverse backgrounds pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at St. John’s University.
We value our individual members for their unique qualities. And, we think that diversity enriches all aspects of our program - training, practice, and research. The ultimate goal of this program is to help diversify the field of clinical psychology and increase the number of students from diverse backgrounds in clinical research and health service careers.
This fellowship includes a commitment of four years of full tuition remission, up to 15 credits during the academic year and 3 credits during the summer session, and an annual stipend of $16,000 during the academic year and $1000 stipend during the summer months.
