Few lived the Vincentian mission more genuinely or touched more lives at St. John’s than Pam Shea-Byrnes, D. Min '86SVC, '90G. Through sharing her time and talents with members of St. John’s Student Government, guiding the members of the President’s Society through high-level St. John’s events, and building up Campus Ministry into what it is today, Pam personified what a St. John’s education should mean.

While her untimely passing left a hole in the heart of the entire St. John’s family, Pam’s legacy lives on through those she mentored and guided. She loved St. John’s, and she would be proud that we have sought to continue her work through the Pamela Shea-Byrnes Catholic Scholars Endowed Scholarship.

Support from the scholarship has given an education to students who commit themselves to faith-based leadership training, service, prayer, and formation of a deeper understanding of what it means to be a leader inspired by the Catholic tradition. There is no finer gift to our beloved colleague and friend than by honoring her memory with support of the scholarship that will forever bear her name.

Please embrace the Vincentian spirit Pam embodied, by supporting our students as they work to complete their education and become the Vincentian leaders and innovators of tomorrow. Your generosity will help to ensure that Pam’s spirit will forever burn brightly in the students who will directly benefit from this unique Catholic and Vincentian scholarship.

Give today in Pam’s memory to support our students.
