The magic of Give Kids the World has been in the St. John’s family since 2006. This ever-expanding storybook resort is located in Central Florida, and has played host to over 154,000 children with critical illnesses and their families since 1986. Every individual that visits the Village has a unique experience, and as volunteers or “angels” you get to play a unique role where you create magic that leaves an indelible mark on these families that goes beyond the world of the Village.
Give Kids the World changes the lives of both the families that visit there, as well as the volunteers. In a place where the expression happiness inspires hope thrives, becoming part of the Village’s network of angels inspires you to believe in magic, and rise to answer the question of what must be done while living our Vincentian mission.
St. John’s has had the honor of serving within the 1,000 plus volunteer positions, with over 200 Johnnies having served since the trip started in 2006. Funds from this page will directly support the individuals participating in this trip during March of 2019, facilitated by the Queens Campus. With your support, you are helping us send volunteers to create magic for these children and their families in a time they need it most. Please help us continue this service tradition of inspiring hope, creating magic and stories that last a lifetime, and answering the question of what must be done.
