BHM 2018 Phyllis Bell Scholarship
By Melissa Akers-Atkins
What started off as Negro History Week in 1926 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, is now an Annual Month long celebration. During Black History Month, there is a special emphasis on family, education, work ethic, individual responsibility, and entrepreneurship.
It is our goal to find at least 28 Donors (one for each day) to provide a gift toward The Phyllis Bell Scholarship. We give in support of our future Innovators as they strive for academic achievement and continue serving as Black Student Leaders on campus.
The campaign will run from February 1, 2018 - February 28, 2018
As a way of saying thank you, Donors of $28 or more will receive our 2018 Black Alumni T-Shirt while supplies last.
